Britons ripping out doors and dumping them in the street overnight is at rates not seen since the war.
Experts are at a loss to explain the UK’s latest door dumping craze saying it is usually something that happens in hot weather.
“We’ve not seen this before. People need to wake up before they find themselves waking up to a Christmas ruined by door dumping. Washing machines and sofas are to be expected but doors? I mean it’s fucking freezing for a start. Just WTF is going on is anyone’s guess, and I’m an expert,” said Frannn Formmby-Ferthermeere, head of Furniture Circular Economics at the Bank of Recycling.
