Extinct English frog hops back into life

A species of English frog thought to be extinct for 80 years has popped up in a garden in Yorkshire.

FroggusYorkrana, also known as ‘The Happy Frog’ was last seen in the 1940s when numbers were dwindling. The exact location is being keep secret to deter Frog enthusiasts who may be tempted to visit.

Yorkshire is England’s most biodiverse county according to the Yorkshire’s biodiversity index.
