Cold snap adds to global warming worries for weather watchers

Last weekend’s return of some normal weather for the time of year is causing concern among worried weather watchers that rising global temperatures from man made climate change is not proof that something freaky is happening.

While the early spring weather was warmish, freezing, breezy, windy, blustery, cloudy and sunny over the weekend this has prompted environmentalists up and down the country to agree that it both is and isn’t normal for this time of year.

“You just never know what you’re going to get in this country. But when we do get what we expect we don’t know what to do!” said one baffled observer.

As a nation of question askers but answer ignorers, Timothy Weatherbeaten, Head of Weather Chat and Social at the Office of Meteorological Meteorology said he has his work cut out for Tuesday’s online group chat where the agenda includes: “Is it now foolish to expect showers in April?”.

Does this count as cloudy weather or sunny weather? Answers please, someone.
